Why seek support?

You are the expert in your child.

And while you are not clueless or missing the advocacy gene – maybe you just haven’t realised yet that as an insurance scheme, the NDIS needs to be approached with strategy and intention.

You’re already focused on mastering motherhood, work, home life and the world of disability.

It’s no wonder that for many mums, engaging with the NDIS feels triggering or overwhelming.

While you are managing therapy schedules, medical testing and trying to schedule date night once a year, how can you also be expected to be an expert in the fast paced and sophisticated world of disability and advocacy?

And really… do you want to spend hours trolling through websites, legislation, and data… or would you rather spend time building a good life?

Time is our most valuable resource. The one thing we can never get back. The one thing we can never get more of.

Investing in support (in all areas of life) has never made more sense. And when we work with this system in a masterful way – you will feel empowered to make informed decisions that work for your family.

What our clients say

Before working with Anna, I was struggling with being able to understand how I can best advocate for my children to get what they needed . Anna was able to explain a lot more to me and explain legislation in normal terms that I could understand. With Anna’s help I have been able to triple my children’s plans and get all requested help to better our lives as a family. Anna is a wealth of knowledge and we will definitely use her in the future for anything we need to do with NDIS.

Do you guarantee the results?

You may have a fair idea by now that with the NDIS – nothing is guaranteed! However we are committed to working with you to achieve the best outcomes for your family.

Do you have applicable screening to work with children and their families?

Our staff have a valid Working with Children Check and recent Police Check. Copies can be provided on request.

What information do I need to disclose?

In working together to achieve the most appropriate plan and funding package, it is beneficial for you family, myself and the NDIA to have the full picture of your lifestyle and your child’s disability support needs. You can expect to discuss your child’s current support budget (if they have one), the impacts of your child’s disability/ies on your family, and their aspirations for the future.

Your child and other family members are welcome to participate should they wish.

All information is private and confidential as per our Privacy Policy.

Can Plan Managed Participants work with you?

Yes. Please contact us if you require an invoice for your plan manager.

As always, all NDIS purchases must be in line with the participants plan and goals.

Can I use NDIS funding to access your services?

The NDIS supports not only participants, but also the informal supports (parents and carers) of participants to build their capacity in supporting their children to achieve their goals. This can include parent and carer training, support to recruit and manage staff (such as support workers), assistance with book-keeping and self-management training.

Capacity Building Funding:
The NDIS Price Guide states that Plan Managed and Self-Managed participants may use Capacity Building – Improved Daily Living funds for Parent / Carer support and training as follows: “Training for carers in matters related to caring for a person with disability”. The line item for this support is 15_038_0117_1_3.

Core Funding:
The NDIS Price Guide states that Core funding can be used towards Capacity Building and Training in Self-Management and Plan Management where this support assists the participant to strengthen their abilities to self-manage their funds and supports them to build capacity to undertake all aspects of plan administration and management. This includes building organisational skills; engaging providers; enhancing the participant’s ability to direct their supports; developing service agreements; building financial skills; maintaining records; paying providers; and claiming payments from the NDIA. The line item for this support is 01_134_0117_8_1.

The NDIS Guide to Self-Management also states that Self-Managed Participants can use their Core funding to engage a Support Coordinator.

All NDIS purchases must be in line with the participants plan and goals.
